Duties of Sigma Gamma Advisor

1) Act as a liaison between the fraternity and SUNY - Oswego administration in matters of academia and community affairs

2) Act as a liaison between the fraternity and Oswego community in government and community concerns

3) Mentor the active brothers to promote good integrity and moral standard

4) Monitor the traditions and policies over time from class to class to promote consistency and corporate knowledge

5) Attend Fraternity functions whenever possible to maintain current relationships

6) Participate where possible in the annual composite pictures

7) Reach out to the Alumni Board as needed to discuss matters of importance

8) Sit down with the fraternity's newly elected President to map out a strategy for the upcoming semester

9) Attend Formal Inductions and participate if possible in the Alumni - Exec Board Year In Review Meeting

Sigma Gamma Fraternity is fortunate to have been guided by the wisdom and counsel provided by many remarkable men over our history to date. Each has selflessly given of their time and resources and provided invaluable resources to the fraternity over the years.
