Here's a picture of the pledge class and the oversized pledge class paddle being mounted. This pledge class, and the Spring 2020 class before it, will always be memorable as having unfolded during the Covid 19 global pandemic. Well done, brothers! Pictured L-R are:

October 10, 2020 - Renovating 110 Continues with a New Backyard Fence and Rear of House/Steps Painting
In early October, 2020 the brothers took advantage of some nice weather by installing a backyard wooden fence, secured with concrete foundation posts. Next steps are treating the fence so it holds up to the elements, which can be brutal in Oswego.
Brothers also worked hard on finishing up the exterior paint job, including staining the rear steps and painting and securing railings and lattice work.
The Gamma House is looking terrific after all these many months of hard work. Gamma Brothers take pride in working on the House and working as a group builds the tight knit bonds that Sigma Gamma Fraternity is known for.
Here's a few pictures.

August 18, 2020 - Brothers Focus on Improving Air Circulation, Continuing the Ongoing Program of Home Improvements
Among other attributes, Gamma brothers are known for their "can - do" pro-activeness and the support our alumni provide. We know that if/when there's a sense of more normalcy in the future, improving the fresh air flow circulation inside the House can be an effective way to limit the negative effects of aerosol spread. Our alumni recently donated funds that allowed our brothers to improve the air quality in our home. Here's a picture of one of the high powered, efficient fans our House President, RJ Salerno installed.
Stay safe everyone.

August 7, 2020 - Colin Murphy (Sp. 2020) Compiles Gamma Promotional Video
Operating in the midst of a still ongoing pandemic presents many challenges, including how to introduce the iconic Sigma Gamma Fraternity to college students and recruit academically eligible young men. We remain hopeful that some semblance of normal college life can return following the safety protocols outlined in Dr. Stanley's Oswego Forward Plan.
To help introduce Sigma Gamma to the college community, new brother Colin Murphy (Spring 2020) compiled this terrific video.

July 25, 2020 - The Gamma Lion Makes Its Triumphant Return to Sigma Gamma
On Saturday, July 25, 2020 after many years of sitting in the Party Room at 53 West Seneca, the brothers were invited by current owners, Paul Stewart and Steve Phillips to retrieve the fabled Gamma Lion.
This lion was presented to PM Ryan Smith back in 1999, commemorating the pledge class from the year before. It's extremely heavy, @ 400 pounds. Extracting the lion safely from the 3rd floor took care and planning. The brothers are so very thankful for Paul and Steve lending their valuable assistance in recovering the Gamma Lion. It is a long cherished piece of Gamma History that will now live on at 110 West Bridge Street.
Here are a few pictures of the Lion Recovery Outing.

June 7, 2020 - Alumni Dr. Preston "Sarge" Lowe Passes Away at Age 68
Alumni brother Dr. Preston ("Sarge") Lowe's passed away on June 7, 2020 at the age of 68. Preston was an enthusiastic Gamma brother in the early 70's who went on to become a long serving successful optometrist in the Watertown, NY area. Here's a not great resolution picture of Dr. Lowe from the 1973 composite. It's notable that in his obituary, his family made a point of emphasizing how meaningful his friendships with Gamma brothers were in his life. Here's a link to his obituary. Godspeed Dr. Preston Lowe.
Rest in Peace, Sarge.
June 11, 2020 - The Backyard Stump Enigma Is Finally Removed
For many, many years the backyard of our House has had a large tree stump directly in the middle of the yard area. Many brothers, including Spring 2009 brother James Schunk, have tried, unsuccessfully to get it out. After many years of talking about it, James and his pledge brother Ryan Buckley donated the funds that kick started the effort to call in a professional stump removal company. The huge stump was ground up and removed for good.
A lot of time was put into landscaping the rear yard and removing dead branches and overgrown shrubs. The entire fraternity is appreciative of all of the hard work that has gone into backyard transformation work, and we appreciate the alumni donations from James and Ryan that allowed this initiative to be carried out. Backyard bbq's are on the horizon for sure.

June 2, 2020 - Sigma Gamma Brothers Transform The Front of The House With Assistance From Alumni & A Grant From the Oswego Renaissance Association ("ORA")
After our brothers carried out some interior renovations, we moved our energies towards refurbishing the front of the House. Our alumni pitched in and our brothers worked closely with the Oswego Renaissance Association ("ORA")
to obtain grant money. We are especially appreciative for the support and guidance from Paul Stewart and Steve Phillips and all of the folks at the ORA who are doing terrific work throughout Oswego.
Sigma Gamma is proud to be associated with the ORA and proud to do our part to continue the beautification of the historic homes throughout the Port City of New York. We look forward to continuing to develop a close, productive relationship with the ORA. Here are a few pictures showing the transformation of the front of the House. Well done brothers!
Thank you, Oswego Renaissance Association!
May 17, 2020 - Sigma Gamma Presents Retiring Adviser Dr. John Kares Smith With A Special Fraternity Paddle
On May 17, 2020, the fraternity presented our long time academic adviser, Dr. John Kares Smith with a custom paddle commemorating his many years of dedicated service to Sigma Gamma. Doc's advice, counsel and friendship has meant so much to generations of Gamma brothers. Doc is truly irreplaceable. Fortunately, Doc is transitioning to "Adviser Emeritus" and his continued active involvement with the fraternity will always be welcomed.
Presenting Dr. Smith with his special paddle are John Sarkis, Jeremy Brandel and Jordan Robertaccio.
The entire fraternity is grateful for your service and we wish you the best of health and many years of happiness as an esteemed and now retired professor.

April 28, 2020 - "The Pit" Dedication Signs Become Permanent Fixtures
As a permanent memorial of the Covid 19 times, the brothers who spearheaded the Spring 2020 renovations built signs re-dedicating "The Pit" which are intended to inspire future generations of Sigma Gamma brothers. The inscription reads:
"In the Spring of 2020, Covid - 19 ended the semester short. Instead of counting our losses, we worked for weeks on home improvements at 110 West Bridge St. All we ask in return is for future brothers to continue to adapt and overcome, and always continue to improve the fraternity to be the spirit - the ideal of Sigma Gamma. April 25, 2020 - Gamma Brothers Use Coronavirus Downtime to Carry Out Significant Improvements To The House
The impact of Covid 19 has been wide reaching. Fraternity life as we are accustomed to effectively ground to a halt. But, our brotherhood has always been about adapting and being as resourceful as possible. So our fraternity, led by leaders such as John Sarkis, Matt Ditzel, RJ Salerno, Vinny Aparicio and others carried out a multi faceted, extensive home improvement effort. Our alumni supported these efforts by donating much needed funding. It was a lot of hard work but everyone involved was thrilled with the end results. Several interior sections of the House were transformed as a result of some real hard work and dedication. Here are just a few of the pictures we snapped.

April 22, 2020 - Another Classic, Iconic Gamma Jacket From the 1960's Makes Its Way Back to Oswego
Vintage fraternity jackets and other Gamma memorabilia are treasures. The fraternity is always on the lookout for such items and is grateful when older alumni and their families keep the fraternity in mind when they no longer have an active use for them. The active brothers are thrilled whenever these kinds of treasures are willed to or donated back to the fraternity.
Here is brother Matt Ditzel, the newly elected President of the fraternity for Fall 2020 modeling another iconic jacket that's more than 50 years old. Still looks great and it'll be worn with immense pride around Oswego.

April 20, 2020 - Iconic Pictures From 50 Years Ago (!!!) Unearthed From the 1969 & 1971 Gamma Greek Games
Sigma Gamma Fraternity is proud to be one of the most historic and iconic organizations in Oswego. It's always a special delight to see old historic pictures that haven't seen the light of day in many decades. Recently, a trove of old pictures from the 1969 and 1971 Gamma Greek Games were located. It's fantastic to see so many classic Gamma jackets being worn. Gamma brothers were just as full of pride back then as our current actives are today. It's worth noting that back in the day, as the founders of Greek Games, Sigma Gamma brothers ran and managed the games, which is why you see brothers wearing "street clothes". Here are just a few of these historic images.

April 17, 2020 - Gamma Supports Front Line Healthcare Workers By Donating Pizzas to the ICU Staff of Oswego Hospital

April 13, 2020 - John Sarkis (S'2017) Paints a New Gamma Mirror to Replace the Iconic Original Mirror Destroyed in the Devastating March 2015 Fire
The original iconic Gamma mirror proudly hung at the 53 West Seneca Street location for over 50 years. It was painted with the classic fraternity crest and the the fraternity's name. It was a revered part of Gamma history and priceless memorabilia. The iconic original mirror was carefully transported in 2009 to our new location, but sadly, was destroyed in the devastating fire of March 2015.
During the Covid - 19 lock down period, John Sarkis has been endeavoring to replace the mirror. Although he's improved on it more since this picture, seeing a Gamma mirror once again is a sight every era of Gamma brothers can relate to and feel tremendous pride in. Thank you, John.

April 11, 2020 - Alumni Gregg "Head'ER" Sargent Posts Throwback Archive Picture From Fall 1984
One requirement of pledging is that you have to figure out some way to make the brothers laugh at least once. We have a protocol in place for giving our pledges a platform to do so. It's always entertaining to hear the comedic material those participating in the pledge program come up with. Here's a few brothers, L - R, John Roslak, Keith Rafferty, and Gregg Sargent, helping judge the comedic material being presented.

March 11, 2020 - Covid 19 (Coronavirus) Forces Temporary Suspension of Campus Based Learning Activities
On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, SUNY Oswego President Deborah Stanley announced that "out of an abundance of caution" all campus based educational and student activity programs were being suspended until further notice. Arrangements were being made to structure coursework into on line courses.
At the time of this announcement, the Sigma Gamma pledge program, also referred to as "The New Member Education Program", was underway and in full swing.
As with other developments that have presented challenges, the brotherhood of Sigma Gamma remains determined to adapt and overcome. That mantra, coupled with consistent and proactive communication will see our organization through these challenges. Every brother knows the importance of maintaining good hygiene and regularly washing hands.

March 8, 2020 - Gamma Brothers Enjoy A Day in Gamma Park
Since the 1950's, Franklin Square Park in Oswego, has been dubbed "Gamma Park". We have an incredibly rich history in this park which means so much to so many generations of Sigma Gamma brothers and alumni. In particular, the Veterans Memorial Bench holds much significance in our fraternity.
On Sunday, March 8th, our brothers gathered in Gamma Park to reminisce and throw a football around with each other. This is something we take pride in. Here's a few pictures on a nice Spring day in Oswego.

March 7, 2020 - Sigma Gamma Honors The Spirit of the Irish
Irish heritage runs deep in our fraternity, and has for many years. Of course our brothers are from many backgrounds and cultures, so Irish heritage is just one of many cultures we celebrate. Around St. Patrick's Day, we make a point of celebrating the rich history of the Emerald Isle by donning even more green than we usually wear and invite some friends over to do the same. In the process, a few of our over 21 members might even enjoy a traditional Gamma green beverage. As the old saying goes, "Everyone's Irish on St. Patrick's Day!"
Here's 22 year old Sigma Gamma's Spring 2020 Treasurer Jeremy Brandel enjoying a traditional green beverage while keeping a watchful eye on our guests.

February 21, 2020 - Gamma Kicks Off Spring 2020 Pledge Program with A Mixer with DPhiE and AEPhi Sororities
Friday February 21, 2020 was "Bid Day" for SUNY Oswego. Students interested in (and eligible to, per GPA requirements) pledging are given "bids". There's more to it than that, but as of this writing, there are (9) Spring 2020 Sigma Gamma pledges. Our fraternity commemorated this milestone day by having a mixer at the fraternity house with our friends from the Delta Phi Epsilon ("DPhiE") and Alpha Epsilon Phi ("AEPhi") sororities. Everyone had a great, safe night and the students newly pledging Sigma Gamma got to see for themselves how enjoyable it is when the gentlemen of Sigma Gamma let off some steam with some close friends and fellow Greeks. These are the experiences that are the foundation of true friendships during and after college.
The brothers of Sigma Gamma extend our very best wishes to all of the students pledging fraternities and sororities in the SUNY Oswego Greek system in Spring 2020!
Here's a few pictures to celebrate the occasion. All of the brothers in Sigma Gamma Fraternity would like to thank each and every one of our friends for joining us for an evening we all enjoyed!

February 21, 2020 - Gamma Brings Back Traditional "Consider Sigma Gamma" Recruitment Brochures
For many years, Sigma Gamma brothers maintained a tradition of handing out "Consider Sigma Gamma" brochures to their unaffiliated college peers. They were a really effective recruitment tool back in the day -- and we still think they are today. Times change but we are always focused on restoring and keeping up traditions that work well.
Alumni Peter Devine coordinated the process of updating the brochures to produce a current version. The Sigma Gamma Alumni Fund will print up a good supply of these and we'll update it as needed from here on out.
If you're a college student (or soon to be one) and you're reading this and not yet a Gamma brother, what are you waiting for?
Here's what the brochures look like (before folding them).

February 12, 2020 - Spring 2012 Pledge Class Member Harley "Kermit" Redlin Passes Away
Sadly, 27 year old Harley Redlin, of Schenectady, NY and a member of the Spring 2012 pledge class, lost his battle with mental illness on February 12, 2020.
Harley was an Accounting Major and after graduating in May 2015, he worked for various accounting firms. Harley was the son of Paul and Patricia Redlin, and the brother of Levi Redlin. While an active brother, Harley held the office of Secretary for the fraternity.
Rest in peace, brother.

February 12, 2020 - Another Instant Classic Gamma Shirt is Introduced
Sigma Gamma, founded in 1947, is celebrating its 73rd year of iconic existence in 2020. The legendary band, The Grateful Dead, began back in 1965. Over the many decades since, quite a few Sigma Gamma brothers have enjoyed their music and the adventurous "can - do" spirit The Dead always championed.
Many years of Grateful Dead music could be heard throughout the 53 West Seneca Street House and to some extent, also can be found playing in today's environment. To be clear though, musical tastes have evolved and by no means are most of the brothers of today "Deadheads". In fact, the majority of Gamma brothers attending SUNY Oswego in 2020 listen to what most college students enjoy listening to. That said, there are always some brothers who appreciate sampling the same classic music that those who came many years before them did.
To each his own. It's in that spirit that some Gamma brothers had a few of these classic shirts made up. It's yet another way to honor the iconic history of our ever evolving fraternity.

February 7, 2020 - Gamma Brothers Doing Good Things In The Community
A long standing tradition in Sigma Gamma is to help out when there's a need. Typically, when it snows in Oswego, brothers grab some shovels and dig out some houses. Here's a few shots of some of Gamma's most senior officers leading by example, by venturing over to West 6th Street where our long serving adviser Dr. John K. Smith resides. Included in these pictures are Gamma's President Jake Hepner, Vice President Vincent Aparicio and Pledge Master John Sarkis. Other Gamma brothers were also helping dig out some other homes in the community. This is what Sigma Gamma does, we lead by example.

February 5, 2020 - Gamma Releases (Privately) State of the Union Fraternity Summary & Launches Fundraising Drive
On February 5th, 2020, the active brothers released a detailed State of the Union document. It's purpose is to provide the Gamma Alumni Base with an update on the fraternity and discuss some pending initiatives.
A vital component of these initiatives is the simultaneous launching of a concerted effort to raise funds. Every alumni is being asked to consider participating. No donation amount is too small. A special commemorative plaque will be purchased and put on permanent display to recognize fundraising drive participants who chip in at different levels.
A fundraising thermograph charting our progress will be maintained and posted to the Gamma Facebook page (closed group). The graph is structured in such a way as to mimic the vertical progression through the fraternity House.
A copy of the State of the Union was posted to the fraternity's private Facebook page. If you're an alumni and not part of that group, a copy can be made available to you via e-mail.
The fraternity appreciates our supportive Gamma alumni base!

February 2, 2020 - Gamma Brothers Host a Traditional Super Bowl Watch Gathering
Gamma brothers are an extremely close group of guys. We develop incredibly strong bonds by spending lots of time together and doing things as a tight knit group. A long time tradition is hosting a Super Bowl Party.
Here's one of many pictures from this year's Super Bowl, where the Kansas City Chiefs mounted a 4th quarter comeback to defeat the San Francisco 49'er's 31 - 20. KC Quarterback Patrick Mahomes II was selected as the Super Bowl MVP and the brothers all enjoyed a good time. Our adviser (Dr. John Kares Smith) and some other guests and prospective/potential future brothers also joined us.

January 31, 2020 - Know Your Heritage Campaign Continues With Posting of More Classic Pictures From the Gamma Photo Archives (Mid 1970's)
Sigma Gamma's photo archive vaults are filled with classic images that celebrate our fraternity's rich history. Periodically, we dust off some of these classic images and share them with our fans on various social media platforms. Simply stated, doing so enables us to collectively revel in our historic niche as one of SUNY Oswego's most iconic organizations, as well as enabling our college aged peers of today to enjoy seeing glimpses of Gamma Life "back in the day".
In the first image, Gamma brothers are gathered at 53 West Seneca Street launching the 1977 (annual) Summer Party. This event used to be held on the 3rd weekend of July every year. Nowadays, reunions are held on the second weekend of June, and coordinated by the awesome SUNY Oswego Reunion staff.
The picture below is from 1976 when Sigma Gamma, and other Greek organizations used to build "car floats" that appeared in the City of Oswego's Memorial Day and July 4th Parades. Gamma brothers would designate a certain brother's car as the "float car" and decorate it/outfit it in a unique design. As with any fraternity activity, it was a unique bonding experience and something that these brothers still recall fondly 45 + years later.

January 30, 2020 - Gamma Brothers at the Greek Recruitment Fair
At the start of every semester, Sigma Gamma brothers man a table at the Greek Recruitment Fair, which is held at the Marano Center on campus. Brothers proudly wear colors, and bring some important fraternity memorabilia with them to display. In this picture, the brothers are showing off the historic Sigma Gamma Fraternity banner, a classic fraternity paddle and one of the many historic framed pictures (1968) from our archives. At the Recruitment Fair, (as well as at other recruitment events we hold, including rush events and the like) the goal is to meet interested students and invite them to the Sigma Gamma Fraternity House to meet the brothers and get to know us better.
For the Spring 2020 semester, Sigma Gamma is proud to introduce some iconic buttons that are sure to be keepsakes for those who receive them who in fact go on to take the steps necessary to join one of the most historic, and iconic organizations in Oswego.

January 18, 2020 - Gamma Alumni & Author John Turiano (1977) Releases Thrilling New Book - "Flash Back"
Gamma alumni are notable for their continued successes after college. In January 2020, alumni John Turiano (Class of 1977 and a regular at the June reunions) released a new book, titled "Flash Back". In John's own words, here's a summary of the book:
"With a love of science fiction and a fascination with the World War II era, I have woven the two together in my first novel Flash Back. The main protagonist, Sam Reilly, finds himself in a world where China is the sole nuclear power.
Assigned to a new project secretly working on time travel, Sam journeys to the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago in 1942. While there he investigates the murder of a leading scientist. A murder which appeared to him in a dream. He is eventually faced with the dilemma of if he should attempt to prevent the murder and change the past."

December 9, 2019 - End of Semester Traditional Strategizing Lunch With Our Advisor - Dr. John Kares Smith
At the conclusion of every semester, the leaders of our fraternity make a point of sitting down and having a formal, planning meeting with our faculty advisor, Dr. John Kares Smith. Typically, the locale is at a nice local restaurant. In this case, it was Vona's, a classic Italian restaurant in Oswego. It's a great opportunity to reflect on the events of the past few months and to strategically plan for the next semester.
Here are L- R. Dr. Smith, and Spring 2020's Pledge Master John Sarkis, and President Jake Hepner as they are about to begin this traditional, and very important discussion.
This type of lunch/dinner meeting isn't just limited to two brothers, though in this case it was. It's a great opportunity to sincerely say thanks to Doc Smith for his wise counsel and to collectively plan for the future. If you're a future Gamma leader, you should be aspiring to be present at a lunch/dinner like this. In colors of course, to reinforce how important Gamma is to the local Greek community and also to signal to your fellow diners know just how proud you are to be part of the most historic fraternity at SUNY Oswego.

December 7, 2019 - Christmas Party Dates Share Their Enthusiasm About Gamma
At the annual private Christmas Party, some brothers who live in the House and our other brothers invited some potentials over to see for themselves how close our fraternity is and how deeply ingrained the Gamma spirit is in each brother. Since this private gathering is structured as a date party, some dates of our brothers took it on themselves to make sure that potential new brothers knew what they should be thinking about come this Spring 2020. That's right, taking the steps necessary to join Sigma Gamma Fraternity.
So, here's one Christmas Party attendee sharing that message. Don't worry, there were brothers on both sides helping to safely escort her down and creating a safety proximity zone in the surrounding area. Gamma brothers always look out for one another, and of course our invited guests. Safety first.

December 7, 2019 - Gamma Christmas Party Tradition Continues
On the first Saturday evening following the return from the Thanksgiving break, (usually the 1st Saturday of December) Gamma brothers convene a private, but traditional Christmas Party at the fraternity house. A festive tree is adorned with lights, brothers decorate in the holiday spirit, and throw on some sleeping attire. Each brother attending is expected to bring a date to join in the fun. It's always a strong bonding experience for the brothers and one that's been taking place since the 1940's. Having a holiday gathering like this helps the brothers in our historic fraternity blow off a little steam in preparation for the upcoming grind of grueling final exams at SUNY Oswego.
Here's a few pictures from the most recent Gamma Christmas Party.
If you're a student at SUNY Oswego and you're reading this, and you're not yet in our fraternity, just look at these pictures and the pictures elsewhere on our site. Then take the steps needed to join the most historic, tightest knit fraternity in Oswego.

It's a time honored tradition that is carried out in a very particular manner, handed down through the decades. Brothers take it seriously and typically the collective brotherhood makes sure that the right people, at the appropriate times are seated in the correct offices that most strengthen Gamma's mission to remain a successful, thriving organization.

November 29 2019 - Rest in Peace Brother - Mitch "Lerch" Montgomery (Pledged Spring 1986)
Gamma brothers from all eras were saddened to learn of the passing of beloved alumni Mitchell "Lerch" Montgomery on November 29, 2019. Mitch had been valiantly battling cancer but his passing came unexpectedly. Mitch, who pledged in Spring 1986, was a friend to all and made a lasting, positive impact on everyone he interacted with. Mitch was a big man, with an even bigger heart and will be missed by many. Tributes to Mitch poured in on the Gamma Alumni Facebook Page from all over the globe. Summarizing, Mitch was a terrific guy who loved his time as an active brother and was even prouder to call himself a Gamma Alumni. Many alumni will remember his ear to ear grin, similar to what you see in the accompanying photo, at the 70th anniversary reunion in June 2017. Godspeed to you bro, and rest in peace. You won't ever be forgotten, that's for sure.
November 2019 - Alumni Donate Historic Framed Pictures From The Gamma Photo Archives
Over the Thanksgiving school break, alumni Peter Devine met up in Rockville Centre, NY with President Jeremy Brandel. Peter gave Jeremy several poster sized framed pictures from our collective Gamma Photo archive. Upon returning to Oswego, the active brothers re-arranged the photos and composites on the walls of the fraternity house to make room for the new additions.
The picture Jeremy is holding is a tribute to the late brother Kory "Jaeger" Rauscher who played a major role in Sigma Gamma's resurgence in 2009 as the fraternity navigated its path from our beloved, long time home at 53 Seneca Street to its current location. The framed picture documents the very first front porch picture at our current location and summarizes the trailblazing path that Kory and brothers in his peer group forged. You can zoom in to read the inscription.
In the apt words of Gamma's current Pledge Master, John Sarkis - "The house looks likes a Gamma Museum now bro".
Exactly. That's what we're striving for. As one of the most historic organizations in Oswego, nothing reinforces that better than seeing classic pictures from our archives come to life in poster sized frames.
Thank you to alumni who donate to the Gamma Alumni Fund that helps make things like this possible.
If you're a student at SUNY Oswego and you're reading this, and you're not yet in our fraternity, just look at these pictures and the pictures elsewhere on our site. Then take the steps needed to join the most historic, tightest knit fraternity in Oswego.
Go Greek. Go Gamma.
November 23, 2019 - Remembering the Late Gamma Legend A.J. Pedone's Passing 46 Years Ago
On November 23, 1973, recently graduated brother A.J. Pedone , 24 years old, was tragically killed after being hit by a train in Utica, NY. "A.J." (Augustine Joseph) was an extremely well respected brother whose dedication to the fraternity played an enormous role in the success of Sigma Gamma in the early 1970's. Alumni Jim Moses continues to lead the effort to continue honoring A.J.'s memory, and his many impact making contributions to Sigma Gamma Fraternity.
Simply stated, A.J. is remembered by his peers as being the ultimate example of a "brother's brother." His leading by example style epitomizes the old adage that when you are a Sigma Gamma brother, you share the bonds of brotherhood for life.
A.J. was laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, in Utica, NY. Rest in peace brother.

October 2019 - The Gamma Viking Re-Appears - Fall 2019 Pledge Class Addition to Gamma Memorabilia
In the early 1990's, the iconic "Gamma Viking" image first appeared on the Lap of Luxury Wall. It was originally conceived as a symbol of strength, for the fraternity and our brotherhood. Ever since it was created, renditions of it have been used on t-shirts and other heritage promotional materials. As one of their pledge projects, the Fall 2019 pledge class created a unique addition to the trove of historic Gamma memorabilia with this piece. Looks pretty neat and a pretty good representation of the original that proudly hung at the Gamma House at 53 West Seneca Street.

October 2019 - President's Gavel In Action
For many years, Gamma has maintained the tradition of having the fraternity President call the brothers to order to start official meetings of the fraternity, which are usually held weekly, on Sunday evenings. In some cases, brothers let our invited guests join in. Here's an instant classic showing what's described above. It was a Hawaiin themed date party to boot.
