News & Updates
There are many ways we keep brothers up to date with news and developments concerning the fraternity.  We maintain a separate page on our site that highlights updates for our brothers. You can access it here.

  • One of our dedicated alumni, George "Jethro" Tully maintains a master e-mail list, which is used to send periodic e-mail blast updates.  
  • Like many other fraternal groups, @ 2008 or so, we set up certain social media pages that are only accessible by verified members of our fraternity.  
  • Our active brothers are expected to prepare at least one alumni newsletter per semester, through which they outline developments with the active brothers, and the fraternity itself.
  • Throughout the school year, various alumni visit the fraternity in Oswego and "report back" to the alumni base.
  • Our alumni board periodically convenes conference calls to discuss various timely topics and develop strategic plans and initiatives that will benefit the fraternity.  
  • We also post "news and updates" on this site and invite all Sigma Gamma brothers who are not yet part of the closed FB Group to use the Contact Us Form to let us know about news and updates that we should share with the rest of the fraternity.
  • And of course we make it a point to attend reunions where we all keep each other abreast of what's happening with Sigma Gamma on every level.
